The Buddha said to Ānanda: "At that time, because the practitioner's mind rejoices at seeing Vipaśyin, I and the six Buddhas appear before that person. Vipaśyin, the senior seated one, preaches the buddhānusmṛti-samādhi for this son of the Dharma. The Bhagavat Śikhin's body is forty-two yojanas in height, his body purplish-golden, his circular halo forty-five yojanas, and the radiant light of his entire body one hundred yojanas. Within that network of light, countless transformation Buddhas, as well as bodhisattvas, the great assembly of śrāvakas, and heavenly retinues surround him, following behind the Buddha and circling clockwise. At that time, the practitioner, seeing Śikhin Buddha, further increases immeasurable hundreds of thousands of dhāraṇī-doors; and further broadens them so as to see hundreds of thousands of countless transformation Buddhas. In a future age, after innumerable kalpas have passed, during that interim they will constantly encounter Buddha-Bhagavats and be born into bodhisattva families." When this was spoken, there were again countless hundreds of thousands of devaputras who, having heard this matter and seen the Buddha's rūpakāya dignified and subtle, simultaneously gave rise to the aspiration for sambodhi.
