The Buddha told Ānanda: “One who contemplates in this way is termed one who practices right contemplation; if one contemplates otherwise, it is termed wrong contemplation. After the Buddha’s parinirvāṇa, if there are disciples of the Buddha who remember, who reflect, and who contemplate in this way, they will constantly dream of Buddhas preaching the Dharma of benevolence to them in their dreams, eliminating the sins of birth and death of seven hundred million kalpas.”
