"Hundreds of millions of rays shine toward the northwest, reaching as far as immeasurable worlds in the northwest. Their light is jade-colored, with crystal, red, and purple reflecting and adorning one another. Within each ray are tens of billions of jeweled carriages: white carriages with white horses, purple carriages with purple horses, red carriages with red horses, and the hairs and manes of all the horses are of genuine gold. Above these carriages are balustrades of the seven treasures, and above the balustrades there are canopies in every case. The canopies have ten tiers, and among the canopied balustrades are a thousand bright rays, with jeweled garlands hanging down. The rays of light flow and return into the carriages, transforming into transformation Buddhas. The Buddhas' bodies are tall and manifest, tens of billions of yojanas in height. From each Buddha's navel emerge countless rays of light, whose light illuminates immeasurable transformation Buddhas everywhere. Those who encounter this light are permanently delivered from the three wretched realms and freed from the afflictions of the three evils. This light swirls around and stands upright in the air like clouds ascending; between each cloud are hundreds of thousands of transformation Buddhas; each transformation Buddha has tens of billions of disciples who, like Mahākāśyapa, diligently cultivate the twelve dhūta ascetic practices, their minds devoid of attachment and abhorring the worldly realm. Practicing such contemplation is called right contemplation. If one contemplates otherwise, it is called wrong contemplation."
