The Buddha said to the monks: 'Whenever you gather and sit together, you should only speak words of the Dharma. If you cannot do so, promptly close your eyes to sound, guard the mind, and listen attentively; through this you may attain the Way.' Hearing the Buddha speak these words, the monks rejoiced, their minds gained understanding, and they immediately attained the path of an arhat.
