1.17

梵志聞之，心惑目冥，不識東西：「我聞此國孝順，奉事恭敬三尊，故從遠來欲得學問；既來到此，了無所益。」

Hearing this, the brahmacārin became bewildered and clouded in mind, not knowing east from west: “I heard that this country was filial and compliant, reverently serving the Three Jewels, and so I came from afar wishing to study. Now that I have arrived here, it is entirely of no use!”
