"Kulaputra, when bodhisattvas transform and manifest in the world, it is not with attachment as their root; it is solely out of compassion to cause others to abandon attachment that they temporarily make use of greedy desires to enter birth and death. If all sentient beings of the latter age are able to abandon all desires, eliminate resentment and attachment, permanently sever saṃsāra, and diligently seek the Tathāgata's realm of perfect enlightenment, then in their purified minds they will immediately attain awakening.
