"Kulaputra, if only bodhisattvas and sentient beings of the latter age at all times do not generate false thoughts, nor extinguish those false minds, and abiding in the sphere of false thought do not add further conceptual knowing, yet within that non-knowing do not discern true reality—if those sentient beings hear this Dharma-door and have faith, understand, accept, and uphold it without giving rise to alarm or fear, this is called accordance with the nature of enlightenment. Kulaputra, you should know that such sentient beings have already made offerings to Buddhas and great bodhisattvas as numerous as the sands of hundreds of thousands of koṭis of Ganges rivers, and have planted all roots of virtue. The Buddha declares that such persons have accomplished the knowledge of all modes."
