Next, going to the dragon direction, closely contemplate Ākāśagarbha,
exhorting to courage, clad in white robes, holding a sword that generates radiant flames,
the son born of the Truly Enlightened One, together with his retinue:
Amalagaganāmala, Viśuddhamati, Caritamati,
Sthiramati, Utpādayitṛ-jñāna, holding a lotus mudrā and wielding a pestle;
the last three have general mudrās. Such bodhisattvas
are arranged to the left and right. For the initial mudrā, unite merit and wisdom,
place wind upon the upper joint of fire, and let both spaces enter the moon.
For the next mudrā, place wind upon space, with samādhi and prajñā joined flatly.
For the third, Gaganāmala, the mudrā uses the turning of the Dharma wheel.
For the fourth, use the conch; for Caritamati, join both wings.
The remaining six are turned upward like flowers; Sthiramati is identical to Mañjuśrī.
Chant the eight mudrās and mantras in proper sequence.
