By the power of the mantra and mudrā, one should abide in meditative absorption,
clearly contemplating this body of mine as none other than the Vajradhara.
When immeasurable heavenly māras and others behold it,
they see it as Vajrasattva; let them harbor no doubts.
Next, one should don the armor; contemplate the vestments worn
as generating blazing light over the entire body, using this to adorn the body.
Obstructing māras and other beings of evil intent,
upon seeing it, all scatter in the four directions. Form the samādhi-prajñā saṃpuṭa,
with the two wind wheels of śamatha and vipaśyanā hooked over the fire wheels,
the two void [wheels] joined side by side within the palms:
the vajra armor mudrā. By the power of the mantra and mudrā,
one visualizes the stainless syllable.
