「四方四大護：無畏、壞諸怖、
難降伏護者、無堪忍普護！
藏印水甲合，散舒二風輪，
法幢高峯觀，哀愍無餘眾。
帝釋方華臺，『嚩』字光轉成，
無畏結護者！金色妙白衣，
面現少忿怒，手持於檀荼。
夜叉方『博』字，壞諸怖結護！
素衣潔白色，手持於朅伽。
龍方觀『索』字，轉成難降伏！
色如無憂華，朱衣現微笑，
而觀於眾會。焰魔方『唅』『欠』，
成無勝結護！黑色玄服衣，
毘俱眉浪文，首戴髮髻冠，
光照眾生界，手持檀荼印，
及一切眷屬，皆坐白蓮華。
真言及密印，如前已開示。
門門二守護，無能三昧拳，
舉翼輪開數，智拳心舒風。
猶如相擬勢，相對舉慧拳，
狀如相擊勢。」

"The Four Great Protectors of the four directions: Fearless, Destroyer of All Fears, / Invincible Protector, and Aparājita Universal Protector! / The womb mudrā joins the water nails; / extend and spread the two wind wheels; / contemplate the high peak of the Dharma banner, / having compassion on all sentient beings without remainder. / On the flower platform in Indra's direction, the light of the syllable 'va' transforms into / the Fearless Boundary-Protector! / Golden-colored, in exquisite white robes, / his face shows slight wrath, / and his hand holds a daṇḍa. / In the yakṣa direction is the syllable 'bhaḥ', the Destroyer of All Fears Boundary-Protector! / In white garments, spotless white in color, / his hand holds a khaḍga. / In the dragon direction, contemplate the syllable 'saḥ', / transforming into the Invincible One! / His color is like the aśoka flower; / wearing crimson robes, showing a gentle smile, / he looks upon the assembly. / In the Yama direction, 'hāṃ' and 'khaṃ' / become the Unconquerable Boundary-Protector! / Black in color, in dark garments, / with the rippling lines of Bhṛkuṭī's brows, / wearing a topknot crown on his head, / his light illuminates the realms of sentient beings, / his hand holds the daṇḍa mudrā, / and his entire retinue / all sit upon white lotuses. / The mantra and secret mudrā / have already been revealed before. / At each gate are two guardians: / the samādhi fist of Aparājita, / raising the wing wheel and opening several times, / the jñāna fist extends the wind [finger] at the heart. / As if poising against each other, / raise the prajñā fist opposite, / in a posture as if striking each other."
