2.88

「佛子應諦聽，次東第三院，
施願金剛壇，四方相均普，
衛以金剛印。當於彼中作，
火生曼荼羅，內心復安置，
妙善青蓮華。智者曼殊音，
本真言圍之，如法布種子，
而以為種子，復於其四旁，
嚴飾以青蓮。圖作勤勇眾，
先安妙吉祥，其身欝金色，
五髻冠其頂，猶如童子形，
左持青蓮華，上表金剛印，
慈顏遍微笑，坐於白蓮華，
妙相圓普光，周匝互暉映，
而住佛加持，神力三昧王，
及無量眷屬：

"Son of the Buddha, listen attentively: / next is the third court to the east, / the boon-granting vajra altar, / equal and universal in four directions, / guarded by vajra mudrās. / In its center one should make / a fire-arising maṇḍala; / in the inner heart place furthermore / a wondrously fine blue lotus. / Wise Mañjughoṣa / is encircled by his root mantra, / arranging the seed syllables according to rule / and using them as seeds; / furthermore, on its four sides, / adorn it with blue lotuses. / Depict the assembly of diligent heroes: / first place Mañjuśrī, / his body of saffron-gold color, / with five topknots crowning his head, / in the form of a youth, / holding a blue lotus in his left hand, / surmounted by a vajra mudrā, / smiling universally with a compassionate countenance, / seated on a white lotus, / with wondrous marks and a universal circular halo, / their lights mutually reflecting all around, / abiding in the Buddha's adhiṣṭhāna, / the samādhi king of supernatural power, / along with an immeasurable retinue:
