"Their secret emblems should be arranged in sequence:
The noble one of Renown, Sarvanīvaraṇaviṣkambhin, abides in the samādhi of the power of compassion;
joining the hands of wisdom and merit with palms hollowed, earth, water, and space enter the moon (space holds the middle joint of water),
and the wind and fire wheels are joined together, like holding a maṇi jewel.
To the right of the noble one is Kautūhala: with fingers bound internally, erect the fire wheels;
a single-spoke [vajra] is set upon a precious vase. For the Bodhisattva Abhayaṃdada,
raise the wisdom [hand] to grant fearlessness. For Sarvāpāyajaha,
the mudrā is not different from the preceding. For the Bodhisattva Paritrāṇāśayamati,
the compassion hand is held at the heart. For the Bodhisattva Mahāmaitryabhyudgata,
the wisdom wind and space fingers hold a flower (the other three dispersed). Karuṇāmṛdita is placed to the right,
with the thought of compassion at the heart, bending down the fire finger.
Sarvadāhapraśamin makes the hand that hangs down granting wishes;
amṛta water streams down, pervading the tips of the fingers.
Next, Acintyamati, with the hand granting fearlessness,
forms the gesture of space and wind holding a jewel, with fire and the others spread and slightly bent."
