1.45

先結三昧耶，次不動刀契，
乃奉閼伽水。復獻金剛座，
次奉香華等，去垢無動尊。
現前觀覽字，去而一肘間，
熾焰朝日暉。念誦真實義，
能除一切障。先自淨心地，
復淨道場地，悉皆除過患，
其相如虛空。下觀訶風輪，
黑光焰流布。次水輪嚩字，
其色如乳海。次地觀阿字，
四向黃金色。上四字觀門，
皆先誦歸命。

First form the samaya-[mudrā], next the Acala sword mudrā, / And then offer the argha water. Next present the vajra-seat; / Next present incense, flowers, and the like. Purify defilements with Acala: / Contemplate the syllable RAṂ appearing before you / At a distance of one forearm's length, / Blazing like the radiance of the morning sun. Reciting its true meaning / Can eliminate all obstacles. / First purify the ground of one's own mind, / Then purify the ground of the bodhimaṇḍa, / Fully removing all faults and blemishes / So that its appearance is like empty space. / Contemplate below the wind-wheel of HA, / With black radiant flames spreading forth. / Next is the water-wheel of the syllable VA, / Its color like a sea of milk. / Next, on the earth contemplate the syllable A, / Golden-colored in the four directions. / For the contemplation methods of the above four syllables, / Always first recite the homage [namas].
