爾時世尊已見十方諸佛菩薩、人天請已，即入三昧，寂然不語，從肉髻中涌出十道百寶光明，於光明中又涌出千葉蓮華，臺上有化如來結跏趺坐。蓮華臺中，其化佛頂上復放十道百寶光明遍照十方世界，一切毛孔皆放香風，有大金輪在虛空中轉。其光明中，皆遍示現無量百千兢伽河俱知那庾多金剛密跡諸大神王力士，擎山持杵，迴天輪日，現大神通，衣甲晃耀，露仗刀劍、鐵棒輪索、弓箭釣棹、戎器鈴鐸、螺貝旌節、旗幡幢蓋遍塞空中。或有雷電震動大聲，日月無光，一切天龍不安其宮，皆宮來雲集。一切猛獸背息毒心，普集大會。鬼神戰慄。互相安慰。大眾仰觀，怖畏歡喜，各求哀祐。

At that time, having seen the entreaty of the Buddhas, bodhisattvas, humans, and devas of the ten directions, the World-Honoured One immediately entered samādhi, remaining silent and wordless. From his uṣṇīṣa welled forth ten beams of light of a hundred jewels. From within the light there again welled forth a thousand-petaled lotus, upon whose dais sat a transformed Tathāgata cross-legged. Within the lotus dais, atop that transformed Buddha's uṣṇīṣa, there again radiated ten beams of light of a hundred jewels that shone universally throughout the worlds of the ten directions. All his pores emitted fragrant breezes, and a great golden wheel turned in the empty sky. Within that radiance, there were universally manifested limitless hundreds of thousands of koṭīs of nayutas of Gaṅgā sands of Vajraguhyaka great spirit kings and mighty warriors, lifting mountains and holding vajra-pestles, revolving the heavens and wheeling the sun, displaying great supernormal powers. Their armor glittered, and bared weapons—swords, iron rods, wheel-snares, bows, arrows, hooks, oars, weapons of war, bells, conches, insignias, banners, flags, and canopies—completely filled the sky. There was thunder and lightning shaking with a great sound; the sun and moon lost their light. All the devas and dragons felt uneasy in their palaces and came from their palaces to assemble like clouds. All ferocious beasts quelled their venomous hearts and gathered together at the great assembly. Ghosts and spirits trembled and comforted one another. The great assembly looked up, terrified yet joyful, each seeking merciful protection.
