Ekissā gāviyā sarūpavacchāya yaṃ ekasmiṃ thane khīraṃ hoti tena rājā yāpeti, yaṃ dutiyasmiṃ thane khīraṃ hoti tena mahesī yāpeti, yaṃ tatiyasmiṃ thane khīraṃ hoti tena brāhmaṇo purohito yāpeti, yaṃ catutthasmiṃ thane khīraṃ hoti tena aggiṃ juhati, avasesena vacchako yāpeti.

With the milk in the first teat of a cow with a calf of like appearance the king subsists, with the milk in the second teat the chief queen subsists, with the milk in the third teat the brāhmaṇa royal chaplain subsists, with the milk in the fourth teat they offer a fire-oblation, and with the remainder the calf subsists.
