“Having the ultimate goal”: ‘end’ (anta) means destruction; their goal has gone beyond the end, thus they have “the ultimate goal.” What is their goal, what is the supreme relief, Nibbāna, that is called constant, having transcended the destruction of all. “Security from the yoke” is just a name for Nibbāna; they have ultimate security from the yoke, thus they are “having ultimate security from the yoke.” They practice the spiritual life (brahma), the noble path, in the sense of excellence, thus they are “celibates” (brahmacārī). One who lives the spiritual life for the sake of the ultimate is “one of ultimate spiritual life.” “Culmination” is also a name for Nibbāna. They have the ultimate culmination, thus they are “those of ultimate culmination.”
