‘‘Natthi jhānaṃ apaññassa, paññā natthi ajhāyato;
Yamhi jhānañca paññā ca, sa ve nibbānasantike.
372. Meditation is impossible for him who lacks wisdom; wisdom is impossible for him who meditates not;
He that both meditates and possesses wisdom is near Nibbāna.
