addressed those bodhisattvas: 'Noble sons, when you have reached that Sahā world realm, offer worship and reverence to that Buddha, the Bhagavān, and conceive the notion that he is extremely difficult to encounter. Why is that? Because for countless koṭis of nayutas of kalpas, the Buddha Śākyamuni performed deeds extremely difficult to practice, and through great compassion made this aspiration: "When I become manifestly awakened, may I be manifestly awakened in a world realm that is sinful, where there are mountains, ravines, potsherds, pebbles, thorns, and the like, and where sentient beings possess afflictions and fully commit the five deeds of immediate retribution and the ten unvirtuous actions; and for the sake of benefit and happiness, having entirely severed all suffering and endowed them with all happiness, may the Dharma body be perfected and may they pass beyond sorrow without remainder!" Because that Buddha, the Bhagavān, previously formed such an aspiration, when you arrive in that world realm, you should conduct yourselves just as the Buddha himself walks and just as the Buddha himself sits.' When he spoke thus, all those bodhisattvas unanimously replied, 'We will act according to the command of the Bhagavān!' and each of those bodhisattvas, fully surrounded by an entourage of hundreds of thousands of koṭis of nayutas of bodhisattvas, went to the Sahā world realm. Wherever they went throughout the world realms, those world realms shook in six ways and a great radiant light shone everywhere. From the sky above, the devas let fall showers of māndārava and mahāmāndārava flowers. Through the great radiance illuminating them and through miraculous powers, as many world realms as the sands of the river Gaṅgā
