فرو نشست حاضران مجلس و بندگان دولت سرو آسا بر یک پا بایستادند و زبان بهایراد مراسم دعا و ثنا سوسن مثال برگشادند و گفتند: این چه حالت است که امروز به ظهور پیوسته است و این چه حادثه است که واقع گشته، پادشاه را دل از دست نمیباید داد و زبان به فرمان جهان نفاذ می باید گشاد تا بندگان دولت جوزا مثال کمر مطاوعت بر میان جان بندند و در اتمام مهم نفوس عزیز و کرائم اموال خویش را مانند خاک خوار شمرند، اگر در امواج بحر محیط افکندن اشارت سامیه صادر گردد و بهسان ماهی و نهنگ خویشتن را بی محابا در آب افگنیم و اگر بهسوی هوا تصاعد نمودن اوامر عالیه نافذ شود بهپر و بال همای همت در فضای آن طیران واجب بینم و تا آنجا که ممکن است برای حصول کام دل همایون آثار کمال اخلاص و هواخواهی به اظهار رسانیم، شعر:

subsided, those present in the assembly and the servants of the realm stood upon one foot like cypresses, opened their tongues like lilies in offering the rites
of prayer and praise, and said: "What state is this that has become manifest today, and
what calamity is this that has occurred? The king must not lose heart; he must loosen his tongue in world-executing
command, so that the servants of the realm, like Gemini, may gird the loins of obedience around the waist of their souls, and in accomplishing this crucial task
hold their precious lives and cherished possessions as worthless as dust. If the sublime sign be issued to cast [ourselves]
into the waves of the Encompassing Ocean, we shall plunge boldly into the water like fish and whales; and
if the lofty orders be executed to ascend into the air, we deem it necessary to take flight in its space with the wings and pinions of the Humā of ambition;
and as far as is possible, for the attainment of the auspicious heart's desire, we shall manifest the marks of perfect sincerity and
devotion." Verse:
