آنچه میبینم به بیداری است یارب یا به خواب خویشتن را در چنین دولت پس از چندین عذاب فروخواند، زمانی هم برین بگذشت چون هوش و عقل در مقر منزل خویش بازآمد با یکدیگر ماجرای حال قصهآ سرگذشت باز گفتیم و عهد محبت را مجدد و مؤکد گردانیدیم که تا رمقی از جان در تن باقی باشد رقم اتحاد از لوح ضمیر پاک نگردد، و چون نسیم با گل ملازم یکدیگر باشیم، و در امتزاج و اختلاط بر صفت شیر با شکر عمر عزیز به کران رسانیم، بلک مهر و وفای جانیین چنان پیوند جان شود که چون از کمان تقدیر تیر بی خطای4 مرگ بر هدف جان رسد و اجزای تن مسکین با اجزای خاک یکی شود، نی که3 از آب و گل ما

Is what I see while awake, O Lord, or in a dream
finding oneself in such fortune after so much torment?
A while passed in this way; when consciousness and reason returned to their rightful abode,
we related to one another the narrative of our state and the tale of our adventures, and renewed and confirmed the pact of love,
