79.23

و أعطیت عمرالو یعد عشیره تقاصر عن أعشاره عد حاسب در این عزیمت من از صمیم دل با تو یارم و در برآمد این مهم هیچ دقیقه و هیچ ثانیه مهمل و نامرعی نگذارم و تا آن نگار چون حنا بهدست نیاید پای غایت جهد در دامن نکشم، اما تا آن زمان که کار بهترک وطن مألوف و مسکن قدیم رسد هم بر سریر سلطنت «اعلاه الله قوائمه»1 تدبیر اجتناء ثمرهٔ‌ مراد از شجرهٔ‌ آمال و امانی میباید کرد و تدبر متین با سکون و مدارا بر دست میباید گرفت، شعر:

and you were granted a lifespan that, were a tenth of it counted, / a reckoner’s count would fall short of its tenths.
“In this resolve, I am your ally from the bottom of my heart, and in bringing this important matter to pass, I shall not leave any minute or any second
neglected or disregarded; and until that beloved is won in hand like henna, I shall not draw the foot of utmost exertion into my skirt;
yet until the moment when the matter comes to abandoning one's accustomed homeland and ancient dwelling, one must still, upon the throne of sovereignty—may God heighten
its pillars—devise means to pluck the fruit of purpose from the tree of hopes and aspirations, and adopt firm deliberation with tranquility and
circumspection. Verse:
