3.6

و لطف مشایعت ارزانی داشته1 و زفان3 به ملامت و شکایت دراز کردند و سنت و فی العتاب حیوة بین اقوام به جای اوردند که در چنین3 وقت سفر بر حضر اختیار کردن4 و از وطن مالوف مفارفت جستن لایق کیاست و موافق حرد وحضانت تباشد و5 در این معنی با عقل رهنمای، که کشایندهآ بند شک و نماینده راه یقین است.

and the kindness of seeing him off, and extended their tongues in blame and complaint, fulfilling the custom of
‘in reproach there is life among tribes’, saying: ‘At such a time, to prefer travel over staying at home
and to seek separation from one’s familiar homeland is not worthy of sagacity nor in accord with wisdom and good sense;
and in this matter one must refer to guiding reason, which unties the knot of doubt and shows the path of certainty,
