In the year 438 H., he sent Tughral to Takinabad who on arrival there revolted. Accordingly Ali bin Rabi‘ was nominated to proceed thither and Tughral fled with a few followers. Ali plundered his army, and having captured some of them brought them to Ghaznin. In the year 439 H. the Amir Qazdar raised a rebellion and suffered defeat at the hands of Hajib Buzurg Bartagin and after a time tendered his submission.
