On the same day (3rd Safar) Kalian, son of Raja Bikramajit, arrived from Gujarat. Many heinous deeds of villany were reported of this mean and vicious character. One among his other atrocities is that he kept a common woman of the Muhammadan persuasion in his house, and for fear of being discovered, he killed her father and mother, and buried them in his house. I ordered him to be imprisoned until the facts were ascertained. After conviction I ordered that his tongue should be cut out, that he should be kept in prison for life, and that he should be fed at the same mess as the dog-keepers and sweepers. * * *
