The Ata-bak, Duklah, after the decease of his brother, ascended the throne of Fars. He was an energetic and rigorous monarch, and brought the territory of Fars under his control.
Hostilities broke out between him and the Maliks of ’Irak; and he collected together, from all parts of the country, a vast quantity of material and munitions, the like of which, to such an amount of wealth and treasure, none of his predecessors in the rule of Fars had ever possessed. He reigned for a long time, and died.
