na bhedo vastuno rūpaṃ tadabhāvaprasaṅgataḥ /
arūpeṇa ca bhinnatvaṃ vastuno nāvakalpate //

Difference is not the nature of an entity, because that would entail its non-existence;
nor is it tenable for an entity to be different by means of that which lacks a nature.
