3.14

jāte bodhe na pravartyo natarāṃ khalvabodhake /
śabde na (śabdena -- edition) niścaye tasmādanyasmādanyavāñchanam //

Once cognition has arisen, one cannot be prompted; even less so when the word does not produce cognition;
since certainty is not [produced] by the word, therefore [your view is] desiring something else from another. //
