svasaṃbandhitayā mānamatha vastvadhigacchati /
tathāpi naiva bhidyeta netthaṃ cānyavyapekṣatā //

If a means of valid cognition apprehends a thing as related to itself,
even then it would not differ at all, and in this way there would be no dependence on another [means of valid cognition]. //
