Rather, transparency [is the determinant]. And that indeed belongs to the mind, because of its luminous nature, and to the mental state which is its transformation; and since ignorance, even though consisting of the three qualities, also possesses the nature of transparent sattva, the status of an adjunct for reflection exists there as well. Nor is visual perceptibility the determinant of being reflected, for non-visual space and the like are seen to be reflected.
