nanv abhijñayā bhedasiddhir mā saṃbhūn nāma/ pratyabhijñayā tu so ’ham ity evaṃrūpayā tatsiddhiḥ saṃbhaviṣyatīti cen

Now, granted that the establishment of difference might not occur by direct cognition, but will not its establishment occur through recognition in the form "I am that same person"? If you say this,
