Indeed, there is the aphorism: 'It has reference to either [state], dissolution in the Self or attainment [of Brahman], for it is revealed [so].'
And the Saukarāyaṇa scripture says: / 'From blowing, from impelling, from sporting, or from dwelling, from shining, from concealing, from playing, / from strength, from life-breath, from giving, and from existence—the Vedas proclaim him Vāsudeva.'
