a contradiction with such passages as: / "The one God, hidden in all beings, all-pervading, the inner Self of all beings, / the overseer of action, dwelling in all beings, the witness, the conscious, alone, and devoid of material qualities."
Because what is stated there is the absence of the qualities such as sattva. Otherwise, since "one God, hidden in all beings" and so on are also qualities, there would be a contradiction with the statement itself.
