caturthādhikaraṇamāracayati -
mantrā uru prathasveti kimadṛṣṭaikahetavaḥ |
yāgeṣūta puroḍāśaprathanādeśca bhāsakāḥ ||

Are mantras such as ‘Spread wide’ solely the cause of unseen results
in sacrifices, or do they illuminate the spreading of the sacrificial cake and the like?
