na svargo nāpavargo vā naivātmā pāralaukikaḥ /
naiva varṇāśramādīnāṃ kriyāś ca phaladāyikāḥ //

There is no heaven, no final release, and no self belonging to another world; / nor do the rituals of castes, life-stages, and the like bear any fruit.
