nanu ca naṭī raṅgāt svārthaṃ sādhayati, prakṛtestu puruṣārthaḥ svārtho yenaivamācarayatītyāha-
Now, the female dancer accomplishes her own interest from the audience; but for nature, the interest of the conscious spirit is her own interest, on account of which she behaves in this way? To this he says:
