Verses on Sāṃkhya 31.2

31.2

bhedānāṃ parimāṇāt samanvayācchaktitaḥ pravṛtteśca /
kāraṇakāryavibhāgādavibhāgādvaiśvarūpyasya //

Because of the finite measure of individual forms; because of common pervading nature; because of functioning through potency; / and because of the distinction between cause and effect, and the reabsorption of multifaceted forms, [the unmanifest exists as the cause]. // 15
