Verses on Sāṃkhya 2.17

2.17

yāni kāni ca mūlāni yena kena ca peṣayet /
yasmai kasmai ca dātavyaṃ yad vā tad vā bhaviṣyati //

“Whatever roots they may be, with whatever [liquid] one should grind them; / to whomever they should be given, whatever happens will happen.”
