jattha ya purammi dīsaï pāyapahārō u raṅgabhūmīsu
daṇḍō u dhayavaḍāṇaṁ sīsacchēō juyārīṇa

and in which city striking with the foot is seen only on dancing-stages, / the staff (or: punishment) belongs only to banners, and loss of head (or: stake) only to gamblers;
