“Venerable Sir, whence do kṛtayugma-kṛtayugma non-sentient five-sensed beings take birth?”
As for two-sensed beings, so twelve śatakas are to be made also for non-sentient [five-sensed beings], with this difference: space-occupation is minimally an innumerableth part of an aṅgula, maximally one thousand yojanas; persistence in state is minimally one samaya, maximally several pūrvakoṭīs; lifespan duration is minimally one samaya, maximally a pūrvakoṭī; the rest is as for two-sensed beings.
“It is just so, Venerable Sir! It is just so, Venerable Sir!”
