[3] atha dvitīyam api pratīyamānaṃ nirmāmi: śrī-kṛṣṇa iti | śrīr atra rādhā | eṣā hi śrīpradhānatayā sādhayiṣyamāṇatāyāṃ nirābādhā | tad-anantara-kṛṣṇa-śabdaś cātra śabda-brahma-gūdha-para-brahma nanda-nandana-vācakatāyāṃ rūḍhaḥ | tena, "he śrī-rādhākhya-svarūpa-śakti-yukta-kṛṣṇa" ity arthaś ca nirvyūdhaḥ |

[3] Now, I explain the second intended meaning: "Śrī-kṛṣṇa". Here "Śrī" is Rādhā; for she is unimpeded in being established as the principal Śrī. And the word "kṛṣṇa" immediately following is conventional in denoting Nandanandana, the supreme Brahman hidden in the verbal Brahman. By this, the meaning "O Kṛṣṇa, accompanied by your intrinsic energy named Śrī Rādhā!" is firmly settled.
