tatrādhirājyaṃ kila rādhikām anu
prattaṃ priyeṇeti purāṇa-viśrutam |
ahaṃ tu manye punar-uktam eva tad
guṇena tasyāḥ sa ca yad vaśaṃ-gataḥ || [upajāti 12]
Sovereignty there was conferred upon Rādhikā / by her beloved, so it is renowned in the Purāṇas; / but I consider that to be merely repetitious, / since He was already completely subdued by her virtue. ||
