[23] tad evaṃ kautuka-viśeṣeṇa jāte bhojana-śeṣe racitācamanaṃ tam ananta-guṇa-kamanaṃ rāma-dāmādibhiḥ sahitaṃ sahitaṃ sā punaḥ karpūra-rasa-pūra-pūrṇa-khapura-pūrita-sacūrṇa-svarṇa-varṇa-parṇa-puṭa-dāna-puraḥ-saram evam avādīt, lālya-pālyamāna-mātṛ-sandeśatayā bālyam apahāya tūrṇam eva vraja-sadanaṃ pūrṇam ācaraṇīyam |

[23] Thus, when the meal came to an end amid great merriment and he had performed his sipping of water, she, bringing forward a betel packet of golden hue, filled with powdered areca nuts and perfumed betel nuts replete with an abundance of camphor juice, again spoke thus to that desirable youth of boundless virtues, who was accompanied by Rāma, Dāman, and the others: “Because of the message of your mother, who cherishes and protects you, you should put aside your childish ways and return fully to the abode of Vraja right away.”
