[27] teṣu ca bahir īdṛg-avastheṣu tathāntar anavastheṣu na ko' pi prakopi tad-vṛttaṃ vraje vṛttaṃ kuryād iti vicārya diviṣad-varya-vrajena muhur utpāta-vrātaṃ pratyāpayya tam anusañcāryate sma |

[27] While they were outwardly in such a state and inwardly so distraught, the best host of gods, considering that no one [capable of running] swiftly might carry news of that event to Vraja, caused a host of portents to be perceived repeatedly, letting them spread around.
