And then:
Constantly attaining primacy among all heavenly instruments, like the proud festive damaru of Śiva,
with an exuberant, noble dance of destruction performed with speed to punish the coiled serpent,
Hari vividly danced and danced here, trampling each and every raised hood of the serpent king
out of wrath and eager delight in curbing him.
Then:
Shouts of "Victory! Victory! Victory!" arose, creating showers of blossoms;
rows of thrilled hair stood on end, and broad streams of the sweat of joy flowed.
Imitating that dance upon the heads of the serpent-king,
the gods, headed by Śiva and Brahmā, repeatedly produced roars of delight.
