[50] ataeva putrotpatty-abhāvāt pāyayantyaḥ śiśūn payaḥ ity atra śiśūn ity eva payaḥ ity eva ca vakṣyanti, na tu sutān stanam iti | etad apekṣayaiva kvacit putratva-vyapadeśaś ca śrī-kṛṣṇa-parihāsa-nirdeśaś ca saṅgaṃsyate |

[50] Therefore, in the verse, ‘nursing infants with milk,’ they will say only ‘infants’ and ‘milk’ because of the absence of children born to them, and not ‘sons’ or ‘breast.’ In this respect alone, references to motherhood and the joking remarks of Śrī Kṛṣṇa will be harmonized.”
