[51] vṛndāha-yady evaṃ tarhy anyena tāsāṃ pāṇipīḍanaṃ punar atīva pīḍanam | yatra prāyaścittāntaram api na cintayanti tantra-vidaḥ, tat kathaṃ sāmprataṃ sva-vratam upekṣase?

[51] Vṛndā said: “If so, then their marrying another would still be a terrible agony. When even the masters of scripture see no other expiation for it, why do you now neglect your own vow?”
