nirjhara-svana-vaśāmbudāgama-
bhrānti-jhilli-kulam āpa mūkatām |
aṅghripāś ca jhara-śīkara-plutāḥ
puṣpitāḥ param amī madhuṃ dadhuḥ || [rathoddhatā]

Under the sway of the roar of waterfalls mistaking it for the coming of rain-clouds,
the swarms of crickets fell into silence;
and these trees, showered by the spray of the cascades,
blossomed and bore honey in the highest degree. ||
