1.15.7

vanasya cchāyābhir jaḍita-jala-vṛnde vikasataḥ
śucāv apy abjādeḥ pavana-vitatir mādhava iva |
tad evārdraṃ kṛtvā kusumitam akārṣīd avirataṃ
mitho yogyānāṃ yad vyativahati maitrī-sukha-śatam || [śikhariṇī]

As a cluster of waters was cooled by the shades of the forest, the mass of breezes,
like the month of Mādhava blooming lotuses and the like even in the summer,
made that very [water] cool and constantly in bloom;
for among those who are mutually suited, hundreds of joys of friendship pass back and forth. ||
