[85] tad evam ākarṇinīr vara-varṇinī sadya eva gāndharva-parva sampadyatām ity abhiprāyatayā sāpatrapa-nayanāḥ svīkṛta-maya-samayam apekṣamāṇāḥ prati samardhakatayā samardhakatāṃ gacchan punar accham uvāca, yathā-

[85] Hearing this, the fair-complexioned maidens had bashful eyes in the hope that the Gandharva marriage festival might take place immediately; and looking forward to the agreed-upon time, he, becoming their fulfiller, clearly addressed them again to grant their fulfillment, as follows:
