mithaḥ svīkāraḥ syāt pariṇaya-vidhis tat-parikāraḥ
pare te te dharmāḥ sa punar udabodhi svayam iha |
ato yūyaṃ siddhā vraja-gamanam evādya kuruta
kṣapāyāṃ kasyāñcit kila milanam apy āśu bhavitā || [śikhariṇī]

"Mutual acceptance alone constitutes the rite of marriage;
other duties are its accessories, and that [rite] has itself awakened here.
Therefore, you have achieved success; return now to Vraja.
On a certain night our union will certainly take place soon." ||
